The Civilian
Not in shape and you know it.
Starts with a handful of reps. Missed days never reset you.

The alarm clock that gets you in shape. You have no choice. Sgt. Vex wakes you up and doesn't stop until your push-ups are done.
The machines are coming. Your alarm is the first warning.
You don't need motivation. You need someone to make you. Every morning the alarm goes off, and the only way to shut him up is to do your orders. Miss a day and the sergeant notices.
Your alarm is Sgt. Vex. Pick your wake-up time and your days. When it fires, he does the talking.
Push-ups, squats and jumping jacks. Prop your phone up and he counts every rep out loud. Cheat and he says so.
Stop the alarm and you have two minutes to start your orders. Lie back down and he comes back louder. There is no snooze.
He counts. You move.
Every rep gets its own count, from one to two hundred. Turn the sound on and hear him. Reach a hundred and you'll hear something he doesn't say often.
Thirty years of making soft people hard. He doesn't do encouragement. He does results, and the occasional joke he'll deny making.
A 60-second push-up test on day one sets your starting reps. They grow as you do. Nobody is too unfit and nobody is too fit. Everybody is not ready.
Not in shape and you know it.
Starts with a handful of reps. Missed days never reset you.
You were fit once. You need the structure back.
Starts with a real set and climbs from there.
Fit isn’t the same as ready.
Starts at full orders. Vex raises the bar every week.
